We are hosting a community meeting to discuss the results of our 2023 Community Survey and the issues you've identified as being most important. We are grateful that Councillors Laurie Foon and Nureddin Abduraham and Greater Wellington Regional Councillors Thomas Nash and Yadana Saw have agreed to attend the meeting.
We will be meeting at Ōwhiro Bay School from 10.30 until midday and will hold our AGM at the conclusion of the survey presentation. We will have childcare available at the school for parents wanting to attend.

Sunday 29 October - 11 AM - 1 PM: Halloween Morning Tea & Community Emergency Hub Meeting!
This is a two-for-one event - come for Halloween and stay for a meeting with the team from Wellington Regional Emergency Management to find out how a community hub works when our community is impacted. Click here to download a poster for the event.
We want to establish a community hub at the school and this meeting is our chance to find out how it would work. The WREMO event will run from 11am until 1pm in the Hall at Ōwhiro Bay School. We'll have details of the earlier Halloween Event soon. Watch out for your newsletter!

Summer Solstice Swim & Community Mingle!
This will be happening on The Green (opposite 118 Ōwhiro Bay Parade). BYO picnic if the weather is nice. We’ll have details of the swim location closer to the time depending on tide and weather conditions.
