Linda Stopforth - Youth Education and Training Initiatives (YETI) Nepal

Picture
This fantastic registered charity is based in Ōwhiro Bay (where else?) and run by local resident and founder Linda Stopforth.

YETI Nepal is a small, registered charity that raises funds to provide financial support and mentorship to disadvantaged students in Nepal.
Linda began YETI 13 years ago. YETI works one to one with academically able Nepali youth who are unable to pursue tertiary or vocational training due to their family or financial situation.

We also provide financial support to two community initiatives encouraging literacy in marginalised regions.

If you are interested in knowing more, or looking at ways you can help, here's what you can do:
  • Sign-up to our newsletter
  • Follow us on Facebook
  • Check out our website (currently undergoing a refresh)
  • Make a tax deductible donation via our Givealittle page
Thank you!
